A few weeks ago after Chemo number 4 I had a little something out of the ordinary happen. Consulted with my oncologist and went to see my surgeon. After another biopsy it was determined I had another small lesion that was indeed cancerous. That prompted CT scans. That confirmed yes I do have a little more cancer in one localized area to get rid of, problem being, IT IS RESISTANT TO CHEMO!! Another visit to the surgeon; no reason to complete the chemo and radiation is up next. Meeting with radiology/ oncologist tomorrow to determine course of treatment. The best news is that this is still considered curative treatment. I am thinking at this point my guardian angel is possibly reconsidering her life’s calling and has decided to request a transfer.
