2nd day after chemo

This I remember from 8 years ago. I get up to take my oral steroids again, after having only about 3 hours sleep. The aches in every one of my joints is slowing my progress, those are courtesy of the Neulasta, which is needed to keep my WBC count viable. So along with the oral steroids, I will also be adding Claritin. This will take care of aches in a little while. No sleep and joint aches officially makes day 2 worse than day 1. But it’s still necessary and treatment is working. So today will be a day spent listening to my body’s needs, conserving energy and allowing it to rest. My 2 golden retrievers are happy to provide any rest therapy, they are experts.
