Chemo administration means I’m in for a long day. I have a back pack I’m using to use to bring things for comfort and to help pass the time. Gotta have a couple of warm blankets, lip balm, snacks, thin gloves and socks (more on these later), phone, kindle, headphones, and chargers for devices. The first infusion visit will take a little longer due to getting the cooling cap set up. The cooling cap is an FDA approved device to help me keep my hair, hopefully. I am also taking cooling hand and foot covers to stop neuropathy. Those items need frozen gel packs that I am bringing in a cooler and will need to switch out as they warm up. The thin gloves and socks are used to keep the gel packs from laying directly on my skin. I’m hoping to have a video of the cool cap and cooling hand and foot items during use.
