All of the health history questions were answered, EKG, MRSA swab, and physical exam all done. The port placement should take 40-45 minutes and recovery time should be short. The only concern is there might be some scar tissue due to having had a port in the same area about 8 years ago. Now home to wait until it’s time for my next medical visit. That will be Saturday afternoon for a PET scan. Feels like time is racing ahead and standing still.
